Vulture Funds
Category: Politics | Posted by: Martin Stenflo
Here's the last video report from Greg Palast on vulture funds.
Greg is one of my absolute favorite journalists, I love his style of ambush journalism. This man has uncovered the scams behind the 2000 and 2004 presidential election in the US as well as the many ties between current government officials, saudi oil, and terrorism. He tracks the sinister, malicious, greedy, and cold-blooded actions of politics and private interests. This video is about debt relief. Debt relief is absolutely necessary, but we have to be careful what this means. He basically narrates the story of Zambia, which borrowed $15 million from Rumania in 1979, but was broke unable to repay 20 years later. Rumania offered to cancel the debt for $3 million, but before the deal was finalized, Michael Sheehan from Debt Advisory International bought off the deal from Rumania and is now suing Zambia for the money plus another $40 million in interests.
And this is just one of the tales. This is just absolutely sickening to me and it's something very few people know about.
Stay tuned to the man himself and check out his writings: Greg Palast
Enjoy...

...and of course it leads us back to our old friend Jack Abermoff and GW's biggest donor - Paul Singer.
